Toy Car
In this project a toy car was designed using Inventor. The car had to be no bigger that 4"x3"x2", and must be constructed of at least two parts which are connected mechanically. This project was intended to be a fun way to relearn Inventor and all of it's features.

Conclusion
The first day of using Inventor for this project was definitely challenging. I remembered the basic things like starting a 2D sketch and extruding, but I didn't remember much more that that. The first wheel that I started was simply a circle that was drawn in a 2D sketch then extruded with the edges filleted. When I was trying to make the cut outs on the face of that wheel it wasn't working at all so I ended up starting completely over. The second time around, I created the side of the wheel in a 2D sketch the rotated it. Doing it this way allowed for a sketch to be made on the front of the wheel. I learned how to use a geometric pattern so that all of the cutouts would be the exact same. I also eventually remembered the trim tool which was useful for getting rid of the extra lines that were getting in the way of extruding. Also, remembering how all of the different pieces were placed on the sheets and then annotated was a challenge.
